The uSpy 2 week project is now complete! We have just presented our app to a room full of Episcopal Academy Faculty and Students. After explaining each of our roles on the uSpy Team and giving an overview of both the app and the Apps Challenge J-Term, we got nothing but positive responses from the audience. When asked if they would download the app when it is released, the entire room raised their hands saying that they definitely would.
This J-Term has been both fun and informative. We have learned how to work as a team over the past two weeks, and have come to learn more about programming, marketing, and managing than we thought we ever would. As a team, we would like to thank Mr Memmo and Mrs Edwards for their help and guidance in this course. We have learned leadership throughout this program and as a plus have come out with an app that has a promising future. Remember to download uSpy on the App Store as soon as it comes out! It is surely to have a bright future.

Today the uSpy team worked on touching up the app to get it finished before friday when the final presentation will take place.  The remainder of the photos to be used in the app were finished.  Now, our programmer is hard at work putting all the pieces together so that it is up and running soon.  All that is left for us now is to prepare for the final presentation and promote our app.  Get ready, because uSpy is coming out soon!

Today has been a day full of programming and video promotion. As the final days to work on this app come upon us, the final stages of coding for uSpy are being completed. All images are now being touched up and altered to fit the pages on the app, and they are starting to be entered into the coding.
The start of a "How to Play" video of uSpy has been filmed, and extra editing of the "Meet the Team" video has also started. With the How To video, we hope to show the public how easy it is to play uSpy and how fun it will be in a short, informational clip. The presentation for Friday's release is also in the making. Only two days until we make our final presentation!

The pressure of the final countdown for the Apps Challenge has come upon us as we only have 3 more days to complete our apps. The uSpy team now has flyers hanging up all over the Episcopal Academy to promote the release of the app! Today has been a day full of marketing and promoting. In addition to the flyers, a promotional video for uSpy and yet another poster for the Apps Challenge J-Term were created. This last week calls for a lot of work and days packed full of programming and designing, and we are excited to proceed into the final stages of this app!

Throughout the weekend the uSpy team kept busy by keeping up with social media updates on the App's pages.

Rich DeMatteo from BadRhino came today and talked to us about social media marketing and the rewarding effects that it can have on a company.  With this new information, the uSpy team has been working on strategically advertising the app through Twitter and Facebook in order to get the most exposure possible. From posing interesting polls and questions on Facebook to gaining a greater follower base on Twitter, uSpy is surely getting known to the public.

Programming continues to go smoothly as the app is being built quickly now. With an extra person altering the images now, the logos and landmarks are piling up with great speed, ready to be added to the app.

Today has been such a productive day for the uSpy team, as over 40 people have liked the uSpy Facebook page already! Through sharing the page and inviting people to like it, Facebook has proven to be a successful marketing base thus far, and we are sure that it will continue to provide exposure to the app prior to and after the release. The Facebook page now holds information that is easily accessible to the pubic including the game's objective, rules and how to play.

We have now finalized our app icon (as seen below)! In addition to this, the graphics for the three hint buttons have been completed and are ready to be transferred over to the coding section. Through photoshop, logos (such as adidas, nike ect.) are starting to be altered and are starting to create a good foundation of images to be placed into the app ready to play!

Programming for the uSpy app is now officially underway! Through using xCode, a base has formed for this app and is being built upon with great determination. As graphics continue to become developed, they will soon be entered into the programming process to slowly but surely build the app to it's final completion within the next week.

Today we presented our uSpy app in a "Shark Tank" setting in front of a group of teachers posing as possible investors. After the presentation, we walked out with even more possible suggested additions to the uSpy app as a result of the comments that the teachers put forth, such as an addition of a "Flags of the World" category. The initial programming for the application is starting up as the design of the logo and the foundation of all social media marketing areas are being built upon.
