Phlink

January 8th,

- We have completed the logo for our app
- Jeff Hu is learning to program and will proceed to start programming the app.
- Sumner is making a website for marketing
-Kendra made the icon for the app (which is below)
- I am updating our tasks
- Today we had our shark tank presentation in front of numerous faculty members. We presented our app as a social media app

Our app is called Phlink. It is a social media app that combines a group chat with space for photos and videos that can be stored on the very same group chat page. For people who want to send photos to specific groups of people this is the app for them. Not only can they do this but they also can engage in group chat with their close friends while having the photos and videos on display. Users can take photos and videos using the app and send them into group chats or upload photos and videos from their phones. Their are photo and video editing settings and friends are linked by phone numbers so you can find friends from your phone contact list. Our app will draw people in because it is more convenient for group chats than a group text and Facebook which inconveniently hold photos and videos. Our app is less public than facebook and more interactive than snapchat. The interface for the app we are building will be user friendly and attractive and will be the main selling point.

January 9th,

Today more work was accomplished. The the storyboard was completed and a secondary logo for the app was made. On the storyboard, we added settings specifically for the group chat that allows people to add members, for members to leave the group chat, and gives users the option to mute the group chat. Further progress was made on the programming front and the login interface has now been programmed for the app. The Facebook page for Phlink is up and running and people are starting to see it and like the page. The youtube video from our Shark Tank presentation is below.Today was a successful day.
